＋ button — write a new note. Hold it to pick a color.
Type right on the note — it saves as you go.
Drag a note to move it. Drag the bottom-right corner to resize.
🏷️ Label — a wide strip with just a heading on it, for grouping the notes you put under it (“Groceries”, “This week”). Press L, pick “🏷️ New label” from this menu, or right-click the board and choose “New label here”. Drag its corner to make it as wide as you like.
✓ Checklist — turn a note into a tick-off list (great for shopping).
🔢 Adding note — punch in numbers and they add themselves up, with the total at the bottom. Press T, or pick “🔢 New adding note” from this menu, or tap 🔢 on any note. Type a number, press Enter, type the next. Labels (“Gas”) are optional — $ and commas are fine.
📅 Calendar — pick “Add a calendar” from this menu and a month lands on your board. Use ‹ › to change month (or tap the month name to jump to any month). Click a day and just start typing — press Enter for the next line. Each day box shows what's on it, so you can read the month at a glance. Tap ⏰ on a line to give it a time, and the box to tick it off — done things get a green ✔. Each board has its own calendars, and you can keep more than one.
🖼️ Pictures — copy a picture anywhere (a map, a route, a screenshot), then pick “📋 Paste picture” from this menu, press Ctrl+V, or right-click the board and choose Paste. You can also drag a picture file onto the board, or use “Add a picture from file” (on a phone that offers the camera or your photos). Drag the corner to resize; tap the picture or 🔍 to see it full size and zoom in.
🧮 Calculator — the abacus button up top. Full keyboard support, respects × ÷ before + −, does percentages (200+10% = 220), and keeps a tape of what you worked out. Tap any tape line to reuse it, or send a result straight to a note.
📌 Pin important notes so they stand out.
🔗 Connect related notes — tap 🔗, then tap another note. Tap 🔗 then a connected note again to disconnect (or tap the string and hit ✕).
🎤 Voice typing — tap the 🎤 on a note and just speak; your words are added as text. Tap it again to stop.
🔊 Read aloud — tap the 🔊 on a note to hear it. Turn on “Read notes on tap” in this menu to hear a note just by tapping it.
🔍 Zoom — scroll your mouse wheel to zoom in and out, pinch on a phone or trackpad, or use the −/+/⤢ buttons. ⤢ fits every note on screen. On a trackpad, two-finger scrolling still pans — hold Shift while using a wheel to pan instead of zoom.
⏰ Reminder — tap ⏰ and pick a date from the calendar.
A− / A＋ up top makes all text bigger or smaller.
🗂️ Boards — tap the yellow board name up top to switch boards, add a new one, or rename (✏️) / delete (🗑️) one. Keep separate boards for Home, Shopping, Work…
Everything stays private on this device. Use “Save backup file” to keep a copy.
